They have been accepted in Southeast Asia for a long time. Not all of them are cross dressers and act like real women. They may appear in a man's suit and, speak and deal like real men. No matter how they look like, they know that they are accepted and they are treated accordingly. There are many amazing places in Southeast Asia that are intended for gays and for gay communities.
They are treated the same. It does not really matter whether you are gay or straight couple. Everyone is treated with the same level of respect. There is nothing wrong with being a gay and you will rarely hear or see people criticizing or discriminating the third sex gender. Gays are known for being artistic, creative and being smart. There are many successful individuals in Southeast Asia who are gays.
They are being supported. Most families in Southeast Asia support their gay family member. They support them with their needs, education, ambitions, chosen career and even with their relationships. Though some families, religions, group, and cultures may still condemn them, they are just rare cases.
Their rights are also considered. Gays are given with due respect and are being treated with equal rights just like anyone else. As of the moment, same-sex marriage is not accepted in Asia, but some officials and personalities are also making proposals so that it will be considered and be legalized. Though it is not yet legal, some gay wedding ceremonies are organized and recognized.
