- Doguyasuji Shopping District – a 150 meter long shopping street that sells kitchen goods. Most of the visitors of this street are chefs and cooks from different parts of the world. Even you are not good at the kitchen, you will surely enjoy to tour around. Most of the shops offer free food tasting; it is one of the free things you can enjoy here!
- Isshinji Temple – this is not the same with other typical Buddhist temple you have seen in Japan. One of the interesting facts in this temple is its Buddha statues. They might look ordinary and usual, but what it is made of will shock you. Yes, it will! As they are made from the human corpse bones. Imagine how many human bones are used in order to build one Buddha statue. To give you an idea, the oldest Buddha statue was build using 50,000 corpses’ bones.
- Kitashinchi Night Street – the area is a former red light district that caters chic bars, expensive clubs and fancy restaurants. Most of the business men bring their client here to have some fun and little drink.
- Osaka Science Museum – this is an interactive science museum. It will make you love science no matter how much you hate it when you are still in grade school. The best of the best science theories and developments are being exhibited here.
- Kuromon Market – like the Doguyasugi Shopping street, it is a 500 meter long food district that offers wide variety of food products, both cooked and fresh ones.
- Nagai Park – it is one of the largest forestry parks in Japan with a vast variety of botanical plants. The park is definitely a stroll worthy!
- Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki – one of the famous street food dishes in Japan. It made of flour, egg, shrimp, octopus, vegetables and some herbs and spices. It shaped like a small ball with a pancake texture. Best tasting and famous one is here in Osaka.
- Hozenji Temple – one of the local’s favorite mausoleums in Japan. The temple is often busy with rituals and ceremonies. People and believers flock to the temple as it is known for its mossy god of fury that grants wishes of the worshippers.
- Sumo Spring Basho – never miss an opportunity to watch Japan’s traditional sport – Sumo wrestling. Watching it live is not way comparable as seen in televisions. You will definitely feel the hunger of every challengers for winning the crown.
